Brexit

The illusion of choice is all around us. Brexit. Brits get to vote and decide on taking control of their country and severing some ties to the EU. It is the latest skirmish in the Globalist vs. Nationalist war. The Brits have a weapon in the Nationalism fight that some countries do not; an eloquent spokesman in Nigel Farage. Will they leave? Of course not.

The leave crowd had the momentum and energy that remain did not, and it was showing up in polls and nervous politicians. Then the remain crowd really showed their fear and worry that they could not stuff the ballots or rig the absentee vote like in Austria last month, and whoops a little MP was murdered by supposedly a man shouting "Britain First!" We can set aside the fact that she was a Muslim apologist or that the man shouting Britain first does not appear to have done so. This really hurts the leave crowd.

Forget the Rotherham rapes. Per a BBC host, those did not even happen as we think they did. Please look at that BBC host's picture. Is he a Brit? If counting by progressive rules, sure, but we know the score. Rotherham is a figment of people's imagination, but this assassination is true and sad. It might have even made it to your socialist, American friends' Facebook pages as worldwide all good progressives are remembering the woman that they never knew. The Communist International has found a great way to use the Internet to rally the troops and coordinate.

The coordination was a bit weak on the remain side as this was not a party thing but a sovereignty thing so the single women had a hard time making their decision as this did not involve removing free birth control and abortion. They took their cues from their party, but some lefties coming out for leave threw them for a fit a bit. Sovereignty is also a tough discussion, but if properly explained, it would reveal the pro-globalist voters for the slaves that they are.

Leave, even if successful at the ballot box, will not happen. The British government will not implement it. Circumstances would stop the execution of any leave. This vote was to confirm that Brits loved the EU, and were agreeing to their liquidation by the globalists. Orwell had considered the idea that even if England went commie, it would still be England. He did not live to see the mass immigration from the Muslim nations and colonies of the old empire. One has a hard time believing he would expect England to remain England after the third world flood that it is experiencing.

The English had their alt-right moment a long time ago with Enoch Powell, now mostly forgotten.

The British will vote to remain. The exit movement is racist and is supported by only older white losers

Enoch Powell mistake was his loyalty to the Conservative Party.

It will be like the Austrian Presidential election: Hofer/Brexit will have the lead and then the "mail in ballots" will swing it the way they want it to.

The EU is rotting away anyway, Brexit or not. The EU has ten years left in it, tops and I'm being generous here. If they let in another wave of rapists and illiterate migrants, it might not see 2020.

A lot of misses coming around - FN didn't get any of the provinces or what not despite being favored in 2, the Austrian election, and now the Brexit will be yet another miss. These votes are always close enough...

Elections are as rigged as boxing.

Incumbents only get beat when they catch a flier out of left-field on the chin (Scott Brown, David Brat), or when the defeat is so overwhelming and obvious that a riot would break out if the decision went counter to the undeniable (Trump against the GOPe).

I still don't follow how this "hurt" the leave cause, no matter how often it is said that it did. I don't see how anyone who wanted to Leave would then now not want to on account of it.

Low information (lo-fo) white women voting on emotion: "Oh, that poor lady and the horrible thing 'those people' did to her. I'm not going to stand with them."

It's the oldest propaganda trick in the book. Kind of a bank-shot band-wagon fallacy. They do it all the time on race-awareness and immigration. Find the biggest xenophobic loser Idaho can offer and use him as the poster boy for the anti-immigration side. Recall the David Duke dust-up they threw at Trump? Textbook.

Sure, it's not all that effective, but when the vote is split 49-49, or your side is down 51-47, (because you've imported 10% foreign ringers, and have another 10% working in govt and dependent on teh diversity for a job), you don't have to convince that many people, nor do you expect it to, to pull off a win. And it all becomes part of the cover story when the fix is in.

I vaguely remember exiting the eu as an amusing legal problem in law school back then. Never thought this would one day become a real possibility for an important member state. Look, i have alot of sympathy with you guys but as rightly pointed out you cannot win. Brexit is perhaps the one point i would disagree but even in case brexit gets the vote it will not happen. Call it a greek situation.

I am not trolling just sad and bewildered. I do not like trump but in a normal world even in europe people should prefer him over hilary or obama. Obama is such a strange and weird president. He is worshipped in a way that is almost masochist.

I am german and I strongly suggest to view a replay of one of the major german news shows regarding trump or brexit. This is MASSIVE propaganda. You do not have to understand it just watch the hosts. They are bursting with contempt, anger and hate. The rotherham judgements got like 20 secs deep in other news sections with no mention of the background btw. The reactions to these incidents are eerie.

It happened. Look at that vote. Who knows how the disentanglement will work?
