Sex, Booze, Teachers and Guns

"Honey, you still tracking teachers who seduce students?"

"Of course, there are too many for even my eye, give me her name and the link."

"No, read it."

"She gets her own post."

Please do read the details of this teacher's degeneracy and criminal behavior. Adult educators who have sex with 12-17 year old students are broken somewhere inside. Teachers are modern saints to the progs. They tirelessly work the virtuous job of programming educating the young. If you want the reward and status of do-gooder, you might want to live up to a standard of living to match it. Just being an average human would help. Sexing up teenagers is not average. Michelle Ladd, age 41 and married, did not live up to any ideal.

Simple facts can take us through this horrific journey. The sheriff's department investigated her for over a year, so this arrest comes with some good cop work. Ladd had sexual relations with two of her students, age 17. In 2010, a student could not pay to reinstate his driver's license. Ladd said he could work her husband's farm to earn money for it. They started a sexual relationship shortly after that. In a move that will definitely hurt her plea bargain chances, she supplied the minor with alcohol. It did not stop there. She bought him not one but two cars. All while this teen was working on her husband's farm. Farmers, soil of the earth. Farmers wives have changed since the Dust Bowl.

Sure there was some extra money involved with the gifts of cars, but that is not too weird. Teachers get busted for this every week. Wait, I only typed about one of the teens. The other teenage was a student Mrs. Ladd visited in the Kinsey Juvenile Detention Center. See, Mrs. Ladd worked in the alternative schools system for struggling kids. The detectives think that the sexual relationship started after his release from juvie. She sexed him up and bought him alcohol like the other teen. Where her story gets weird is that she also bought him guns. A teen sent to juvie and in a school program for struggling students might not be the best person to give a gun to, but Mrs. Ladd bought him weaponry. At least she didn't just steal her poor farming husband's shotgun to give to this little crook.

Someone get me on the phone with a class action lawsuit specialist. Mrs. Ladd, you just might be the final push for a lawsuit against the NEA. Look at that chart of their rising assets.

Part of me thinks the real villain her is the husband. What kind of "man" is so lame his wife cheats on him with a freaking teenage boy? Some dudes should never be allowed to marry

With make up, though, a solid 6.

She likes her boys bad, didn't think we were still making white boys like that.

Go Indiana!

I agree it's perverted, but one wonders to what extent she was seduced. Over-under on the race of her "victims" anyone?

I'm convinced that a lot of these teacher-student fiascos happen because the teacher is a psycho who craves the constant attention and flirting that a teenage boy can give. In a lot of these cases the student and teacher will exchange hundreds of text messages a day - her husband or grown, working boyfriend just isn't going to do that.

Even at my age I'm still shocked at how many over-30 women I've dated that need an inordinate amount of constant, daily affirmation and endless smalltalk. Text messaging is making this phenomenon worse.

Nick - 95% white county.

Camlost - good to see you. You are correct about texting. When i read the follow up reports on some they mention 100 texts per day in some cases!

You can see and sense the raw pathological nucleus of these types in certain kinds of female student-teachers:

A few giveaways: they look a bit better than average in terms of looks or sex appeal and, even moreso, they dress flirtatiously and exude a sexual charisma that consciously stays in-bounds of conventions but, in its sum, is ultimately inappropriate and serves as a giveaway to their budding pathos...y'know, there are these fair share of such stories that become national outrages that we all hear about and then lament and deconstruct in ensuing weeks; but there are a helluva lot more of these cases developing but are curtailed in the early stages; usually, some sort of calling-out, followed by a sanction for some indirect but related behavior with the goal of curtailing or at the lest heavily revising their development as teachers.
Bottom line IMO: lots of educators, even eventual 'good ones,' are misguided in how they bundle their past emotional needs and traumas on and into their sense of altruistic mission as pure educators. You might even say that good, devout educators are almost always co-inspired by personal tendencies that they need to cull and be mindful of before said qualities get the best of them and their otherwise good intentions. I've seen such a process repeat itself numerously.

Yes, I remember a few student teachers who thought they were still in high school, completely immersing themselves into the social fabric of the kids there.

And another thing - Mrs. Ladd here seems to have read the Sandusky playbook and figured out that the easiest path to molestation it so choose troubled, needy kids with little direction from home. She groomed them "London Paki style" by plying them with gifts and alcohol too, it seems.

But if Mrs. Ladd looked like Cheryl Ladd circa 1978 I'd jump in my car right now and go bail her out.
