Perfect 90s Timing

This link has excerpts from the Rolling Stone Cobain '94 interview. Check out the cover image and script. LIZ PHAIR is mentioned as a "Babe in Boyland". I loved Liz Phair. Exile in Guyville is still in my car for listening on an annual basis when feeling the effects of seasonal mood disorder. That album has some really interesting songs, with songwriting that is not a timestamp for the 90s even if the instrumentation is. For the youngsters, listen to this album. I still can rattle off the lyrics to "6'1"", "Soap Star Joe", "F*ck and Run", "Help me Mary" and "Flower". I always wished it had been Liz reaching number 1 and touring arenas rather than Alanis Morissette.
