Harry Potter HOLES

Ron gets dress robes that look lame like his auntie's. He whines about them. He's also a frickin' student of magic that has that could change them with magic. Why doesn't he use magic to alter them? This is lame. It's like Hermione never using that time reversing tool after the 3rd book. LAME.

UHM, magical clothing alteration is impossible by virtue of Gamp's 5 Laws of Elemental Transfiguration, which also include food. Being poor in the wizarding world is just as limiting as it is in the muggle world - just look at Merope Gaunt being so desperate for food that she sells Salazar Slytherin's locket to Borgin & Burke's for ten galleons.

Also, time turners are very closely regulated, highly dangerous magical artifacts - she had to go through an extensive application process to be able to use one third year, and after the Sirius Black debacle her use was revoked. PLUS every time turner in existence was subsequently destroyed during the battle at the Ministry in OotP.

"HOLES" do not exist in Harry Potter.

Nerd alert!

i am enjoying the anti-statism message of order of the phoenix. i hope libertarians and anti-govt people everywhere view it as one of the better anti-gov movies.

i only have books 1-4. my mother in law needs to follow through with her promise of buying the rest in hardcover.

you should be easier on the adaptations. it's tough and usually fall short of the books. of mice and men and the godfather are two of the few good adaptations.
